Setting up the Dial-up Connection

1. Double Click on My Computer.
2. Double Click on Control Panels.
3. Double Click on Internet or Internet Options.
4. Click Once on the Connections Tab.
5. "Use the connection wizard to connect your computer to the Internet" Click the Connect Button.
6. Choose the 2nd Option to Setup an "Existing Internet account using my phone line". Click Next.
7. Choose "Using an Internet service provider or a LAN". Click Next.
8. Choose "Connect using my Phone Line". Click Next.
9. Choose "Create a new dial-up connection". Click Next.
10. Type the "Local dial-up connection number". Click Next.
11. Type your username and password (use lower case). Click Next.
12. Choose Yes to change advanced settings. Click Next.
13. Choose PPP. Click Next.
14. Choose "I don't need to type anything when logging on". Click Next.
15. Choose "My ISP automatically assigns me one" for the IP Address. Click Next.
16. Choose "Always use the following". For the DNS server type in: 66.232.94.2 and for the Alternate DNS server type in: 66.232.94.4.
17. Type RNSMTE for the Connection Name. Click Next.

Choose whether or not to set up an Email Account

Would like to use the Outlook Express program to manage your RNSMTE.com email account?
(Most people will say yes.)

If No:

18. Choose No.
19. Click Next.
20. Click Finish. (You are Done!)

If Yes:

18. Choose Yes to setup Internet Mail.
19. Click Next.
20. Choose "Create a new Internet mail account". Click Next.
21. Type your Real Name. Click Next.
22. Type your Email Address. Click Next.
23. Type mail.rnsmte.com for Incoming mail and mail.rnsmte.com for Outgoing mail servers. Make sure to use lower case letters. Click Next.
24. Choose "Log on using" type your username in POP account name, and your password. Click Next.
25. Click Next on Friendly Name screen.

Choose whether or not to set up an Internet news account

Would you like to participate in Internet-wide discussion forums on various topics - also called the USENET ?
(Most people will say no.)

If No:

26. Choose No.
27. Click Next.
28. Choose No to set up Internet Directory Service. Click Next.
29. Click Finish to complete the configuration. (You are Done!)

If Yes:

26. Choose Yes to set up Internet news account. Click Next.
27. Choose Create a new Internet news account. Click Next.
28. Type in your Real Name. Click Next.
29. Type your Email Address. Click Next.
30. Type news.rnsmte.com for News NNTP server. Click Next.
31. Click Next on Friendly name screen.
32. Choose No to set up Internet Directory Service. Click Next.
33. Click Finish to complete the configuration. (You are Done!)
