How to use your DSL Router's Ping Feature
Telnet into the router using its IP address 192.168.1.1 |

Enter in the correct password. |
|
Enter 24, to access the System Maintenance menu. |
|
Enter 4, to access the Diagnostic menu. |
|
Enter 12, to access the Ping Host feature. |
|
Enter a Host IP Address, such as the RNS Gateway=66.232.94.1. |
|
If the Router returns similar results, the ping was successful. |
|
Enter y to send the next ping, or hit any other key to exit. |
